The idea for the Black Unity Starter Kit didn’t come from a boardroom meeting or a strategic plan, but directly from my heart. A G0d-given message. I’ve spent years watching our community face challenges that could have been overcome if we were more connected, more intentional, and more committed to lifting each other up. I realized that unity isn’t just a lofty idea; it’s something we have to practice every single day. That’s when I decided to create a simple, actionable guide to help people start building that connection right now.
The Starter Kit is designed to be practical, approachable, and empowering. It lays out seven daily practices you can use to strengthen yourself and the community around you. These are not just ideas, but they’re small, powerful steps that anyone can take to create real change. But this is just the beginning. I’m thrilled to share that my full e-book, Thorn to The Eye, will launch this February. While the Starter Kit gives you the daily tools, the full e-book dives deeper. It explores the history, the strategies, and the real-life ways we can come together as a community.
My goal is for it to be more than a guide—to inspire action, spark conversations, and empower readers to carry this unity forward in their own lives.
Creating these resources has been a journey of passion and purpose. I believe that when we unite, learn from one another, and take intentional steps together, we can achieve extraordinary things. The Starter Kit is just the first spark—the e-book in February is the fire we’re building together.
