Accountability is the highest form of love. To take accountability means to recognize your power. Doing so consistently will transform your intentionality.
We all think we are accountable. Many of us believe we take ownership of all of our flaws, but do you take ownership of the moments you were victimized? Or do you take the role of the victim?
You may be wondering what's the difference. The difference is "victim" is a title. It is ownership of a role. Are you ALWAYS a victim or were you just victimized? (Meaning someone wronged you.)
When you look at the state of different areas of your life-love, finances, friendships, etc- are you fulfilled? In the trauma you have experienced, do you recognize your role? Maybe your role is just your presence- that is what we must see.
Even our presence is powerful to the state of our overall wellbeing. That means that you just being "in the wrong place at the wrong time" is ownership without blame. It makes you become more intentional about where you spend your time, and with whom.
The power of accountability is to help us rectify or make sense of the past. When you assign accountability to others, you must not forget to include yourself. Whatever your role was, own it objectively.
Accountability is not about assigning fault, it is about assigning roles and recognizing what part each role played in the result of the situation. Sometimes it can be painful to admit "I ignored my instincts." "Something told me not to, but I did it anyway."
It feels bad because it is admitting a mistake, and mistakes reveal our flaws. Sure, we all know everyone is flawed, but we don't want everyone to know the ways we are. That vulnerability is frightening.
It is when we revisit those moments of trauma and take accountability are we able to clear out that karmic debt that keeps us focused on the past.
When you cannot take accountability, you cannot forgive. When you cannot forgive, you remain stuck in the past, unable to move on. You will continue to attract and reaffirm the result of that trauma In a loop or pattern.
Once you take accountability for your parts in your trauma, then you will learn to control your destiny. Your destiny is what links your past and your future. It is what you do in the present-yet the present is affected by the past, and the future is affected by the present.
What you do now determines the state of your future. You control you destiny and that is through manifestation. It all requires accountability.
Shadow work is accountability. Manifesting is accountability. And this is the work we must do to become whole and worthy of what we desire.
God will reveal to you who you can be before you ever become it. It is up to you to remove or get around the obstacles in the way.
Take control of your destiny through accountability. Below is an exclusive look at my upcoming YouTube podcast: Lovelii Thoughts speaking about accountability.
